We are calling all field recordists to take part in the CS regional birds contest. The competition runs from September 1 to November 30, 2024 and all recordings must be submitted by November 30. At the end of the event, all participants will receive a copy of this exclusive library.

Recording Requirements
- A minimum of two recordings of either an ISOLATED BIRD and GROUPED BIRD AMBIENCE
- An ISOLATED BIRD recording can either be an INDIVIDUAL BIRD or a GROUP of the same species. These recordings DO NOT include more than one species of bird. Required length: 45 secs – 5 mins.
- A GROUPED AMBIENCE can be anything from general activity to an active Dawn or Dusk Chorus. These recordings include more than one species of bird. Required length: 5 – 15 minutes.
- Recordings MUST NOT contain any traffic, industrial, ocean or human presence sounds.
- Please EDIT/MINIMIZE all wind, foliage and insects out of the recordings
- Metadata must contain your location, bird family name (COMMON), bird species name (COMMON), bird call type (if applicable)
